LAOE is a personal-safety tool for iOS. You record your own voice for the "other side" of the call, set a delay, and put your phone away. When it rings, you answer — and you have an honest reason to step outside, end a date, or get up from a table.

What it does

• Schedule a convincing incoming call with custom caller name, photo, and subtitle.
• Use your own voice (or a friend's clip) as the audio on the other side.
• Disguise the app's home-screen icon and label if you don't want it obvious.
• Warns you in-app if a Focus mode would silence the call.

What it doesn't do
