Choppa — Privacy Policy

Last Updated: TODO — set when content is finalized

Choppa is a playable chop instrument for iPad made by Lucian Labs. The studio-wide defaults at lucianlabs.ca/privacy apply: no accounts, no telemetry, no cloud. This page documents Choppa-specific behavior.

Permissions Choppa Requests

TODO (Choppa agent): List every permission Choppa requests on iOS and why. Be exhaustive — microphone, photo library, files, network, etc. Match what's in Info.plist / Privacy manifest exactly.

What Stays On Your Device

TODO (Choppa agent): Describe what Choppa writes to local storage (recorded samples, imported audio, project state, settings) and the lifecycle of each. Mention sandbox boundary.

AUv3 Host Behavior

TODO (Choppa agent): When Choppa runs as an Audio Unit inside Logic, AUM, GarageBand, etc., what audio / control data is exposed to the host? Anything the host can do with Choppa state that the user should know?

App Store Distribution

Choppa is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple collects standard installation, purchase, and (if you opt in) anonymous crash data per Apple's privacy policies. We receive aggregated, anonymous counts.

Third-Party SDKs

TODO (Choppa agent): Confirm no third-party analytics / crash / ad SDKs are bundled. If anything is bundled (e.g. RevenueCat, Sentry), list it with its purpose and a link to its policy.

In-App Purchases

TODO (Choppa agent): If Choppa has any IAPs, describe what receipt / entitlement data passes through Apple. If none, delete this section.

Children's Privacy

Choppa does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age.
