Tide is a modern tape machine for the post-DAW era. Capture an idea on iPad while it's hot, finish it on desktop when you sit down. No re-importing, no project-format gymnastics, no waiting for cloud sync — same project, different surface.

What it is

• Multitrack recorder with tape-style transport and looping.
• Native on iOS, macOS, and Windows.
• Project files travel between platforms via the Files app, AirDrop, or whatever you use today.
• Real-time audio engine — your hardware interface, your buffer size, your latency budget.

What it isn't

Tide isn't trying to be a full DAW. No MIDI sequencing, no instrument racks, no automation lanes — those tools already exist and do their job well. Tide does one thing: capture audio cleanly and let it travel with you. When you're ready to mix, export to your DAW of choice.

Privacy

Recording is local. Tide has no accounts, no telemetry, no built-in cloud. Your audio doesn't leave your device unless you export it yourself. Read the privacy policy.
